Tony Ingrassia is a pastor, counselor, and entrepreneur. After becoming a Christian as a teenager, he studied for ministry at Florida Bible College, where he was elected student body president and graduated with a B.A. in Biblical Education and a minor in Theology. Tony earned his Masters of Arts in Counseling (MAC) at Covenant Theological Seminary, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Missouri. Tony is currently the Pastor of The Outpost Church, and executive director of Freedom Counseling Service, where he specializes in helping men who are struggling with issues of sexual purity. Tony has authored three books concerning sexual purity: Stories, The Power of Purity, and The Power of Purity Workbook, and oversees The Power of Purity Ministry.
Tony is an entrepreneur who has worked in the remodeling, real estate, and consulting industries. He started his own remodeling company in 1987 and grew it into one of the largest Midwest companies of its kind, with over 50 employees and annual sales of over $5,000,000.00. After selling that company, he authored various programs designed to help home remodeling companies prosper, and has worked as a consultant conducting training seminars for some of the largest remodeling companies in the United States.
Just as a coin has two sides, Tony’s sexuality has represented for him both the deepest sin, brokenness, pain, and struggle of his life, and the most significant expression of Christ’s redemptive power and healing. Convinced that many good men struggle with their sexuality, it is Tony’s hope that his story will help other men find hope and healing as they seek to honor God through sexual purity.
Tony lives in St. Charles, Missouri with his wife, Sheri, and their three sons. He owns a farm in northern Missouri, which allows him to pursue his other interests, including hunting, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors.
